Cultivating A Culture of Care

Forget "BUY-IN" you want each stakeholder to have "AGENCY" -- A sense of OWNERSHIP

In today's culture, rife with violence and trauma, establishing a culture of care isn't just a trendy notion; it's an imperative. The need for cohesive unity, shared vision, and a collective commitment to well-being has never been more crucial. Consider this: If you were to survey every individual on your campus and ask, "Does leadership prioritize your overall well-being?" What response would prevail? The answer holds the key to assessing your level of vulnerability. While no leader can entirely prevent acts of violence, fostering a majority alignment towards a common goal, shaped by leadership, enhances response efficiency and shifts the aftermath from systemic to isolated incidents, thanks to proactive efforts.

What Strategies Should You Consider When Shaping Your Culture of Care?

Below, we consulted with the Glendale School District to help create, shape, and implement their districtwide "Culture of Care."

Key Components to An Effective Culture of Care

1. Committed Leadership
2. An Executable Plan (Sound enough to be 'Reverse Engineered')
3. Why Statement
4. Culture of Care Mission Statement
5. Components of Care (what groups and wraparound services are needed to ensure success of the system)
6. Trauma-Informed Preventive Practices Training
7. Relationship Building Training
8. Data and Feedback System
9. Strategic Awareness Campaign
10. Culture of Care Ambassadors

Testimonials:

Trauma-Informed Preventive Practices is central to creating a culture of care. Here's what leadership, administrators, teachers, and staff said about our training.

When the Clark County School District Searched for A Keynote Speaker To Launch Their Districtwide "Trauma-Informed Summer Summit," They Chose Us.

Below, you will find the survey results and testimonials, as well as a support letter from another of our clients, Valley HS, Las Vegas
