An Eight Year Ongoing Research Project.
The Institute for Student Empowerment, through partnerships with Omaha Public Schools, and the Los Angeles Unified School District, has conducted an ongoing independent research project that seeks to examine the attitudes and behaviors that exist among students who emanate from economically challenged environments, pertaining to education and their future well-being.
Our data, gleaned from surveys, direct and indirect interaction with students, revealed a significant number struggle to connect a quality education to their future financial well-being. Discover how this crisis directly contributes to high disciplinary challenges, absenteeism, truancy, disengagement, and dropout. Learn what can be done to help re-engaged disengaged students and get them back on track to vigorous participation in their academic process. Review the entire, "White Paper," here |
