Inside LAUSD'S "Student Voices"
LAUSD believes the student voice is important and, therefore, has committed resources to create a television show highlighting the ideas, insights, and opinions of students. The show airs on KLCS, channel 15, Sundays at 4:30pm. The show is hosted by Wes Hall. Mr. Hall is an Empowerment Coach, who consults with the Student Unit, headed by Dr. Brenda Manuel.

Next Session - Young Men of Color
This month we featured and heard from our young ladies. Next month we will hear from our young men. What are some of the academic challenges facing our young men of color? What can we do as a district to help them compete more effectively. How can we re-engage the disengaged, and encourage them to vigorously participate in their own educational process? Tune in and learn the answers to these pressing questions.
